We had a super great experience at this location! We ordered late night, food was fresh and not greasy. Staff were the friendly customer service we've had in awhile. Tons of dipping sauces to choose from, we can't wait for our next visit! Highly recommend the volcano
A good standard chungchun location. The manager was quite nice and the staff seemed excited. The store was clean and well stocked - nothing was sold out. I got the chicken dog with potatoes and the garlic toppings. The 2.99 deal online was not offered and the staff was a bit slow BUT this is their first day and they seem excited to get things off the ground. Looking forward to seeing the chain grow.
Went on Family day. This was my first time trying Korean hotdogs. The person that was serving the counter was very helpful in explaining the differences between the choices. I had the half cheese half hotdog with flakes. Crunchy cheesy and the hotdog itself had good flavour!! Overall a really pleasant experience I will go there again!!
She was extremely helpful being as I was so indecisive. If you haven't tried them once, you're missing out on pimped out childhood favorites! I got the mixer box and was in a food coma. Highly recommend.
It was my first time trying the korean-style hot dogs and they definitely didn't disappoint. Our order: - Squid-ink batter hotdog w/ potatoes & teriyaki sauce. Rating: 3/5. Not a fan of the squid-ink batter. - Double cheese hot dog w/ flakes & honey mustard sauce. Rating: 4/5. The flakes are sweet. - Double cheese hot dog w/ ramen chips & chipotle sauce. Rating: 5/5. This one was my favourite combination! The service was amazing. The guys were very patient with us and shared their recommendations with us for our next visit, which we hope will be soon
I've been many times because I love the food, atmosphere, and the staff are really nice and kind - they are always smiling, even when it's very busy. Compared to Chungchun locations in Toronto, the service is much faster here and the restaurant is larger with comfortable seating and washrooms. I'm so glad there's now a location in Kingston! The pineapple ade is really good too. They now offer Spearhead beer at a crazy cheap price, as well. The manager is super nice with a great smile and it's easy to see he cares a lot about his customers, and staff. Even at the grand opening when the line was out the door and down the street, service was as fast as could be hoped and everyone was still smiling and kind. I love that there are multiple vegetarian options for me! I also love the vibes and atmosphere. The music is happy and not too loud. Washrooms are clean. And the food is made fresh (not frozen then cooked). I am absolutely shocked at the bad reviews. I've been at least 10 times (I know, I can't help myself) and I haven't once seen anything but great service and great food. They specialize in Korean rice hotdogs - that's why it's great. I've heard that they will be adding additional menu options in the near future, which will be nice. It's not often I find a place that feels this chill and welcoming. Great for a snack, a date, hang out, grabbing a drink. Highly recommended! Edit: Tried the Spearhead beer (local brewery). I'm not a beer person at all and I actually really liked it! The price is also unbeatable here.
Service was amazing, food was fresh and hot! What a great find when visiting Kingston. We can't wait to come back.
